Since 1845, Baldwin-Wallace College has been an asset to the community providing high quality educational programs, speakers, athletic competition, theatre, concerts, fine arts, and other events, many of which are free.

Each week 1,400 community members come to our campus and participate in various community arts programs including classes, lessons and ensembles offered through our Conservatory Outreach department.

Our Mission Statement promises to support lifelong learning and to create "contributing, compassionate citizens", and we take that commitment seriously. Whether it's the Tax Clinic providing assistance for the elderly, the Business Clinic, or ECCAO (Expanding Children's Caring About Others) teaching young children non-violent ways to handle conflict, our faculty and students work together allowing students to gain practical experience while making a contribution to the community.

B-W students provide many additional hours of service to the surrounding community, through our Office of Community Outreach, sorority and fraternity philanthropic initiatives, or individual efforts. Our annual student-run Dance Marathon raises money for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
